“In 1965, Buckminster Fuller mortgaged his house to build a 24 foot Fly’s Eye Dome. Bucky then posed in front of the Dome with the Dymaxion Car.

In 2011, Design Miami/ did a satellite exhibition in collaboration with the Miami Design District and Norman Foster, where we built, in the same place it currently is, the original Dome. Today, we are proud to have the prototype of the Fly’s Eye Dome in the heart of Palm Court #atMDD.” – Craig Robins, the visionary behind the District.
